Once you get your movie into iTunes you can delete the .vob file that DVDdecrypter created.
Keep in mind that the process can take a few hours. Typically the higher the quality settings the longer it will take. If you plan to playback your movies onto your TV from the iPod or iPhone using the Apple cables then I would suggest using a higher quality setting. My movies look near DVD quality when played back on my 42" plasma using the Apple component video cables.
Pretty cool application I found is http://www.cucusoft.com/dvd-to-ipod.asp. Put it in and let it rip, only one step. A few bucks but well worth it in time and effort.
Yeah, there are quite a few apps like this out there. Most of them just add an interface to ffmpeg. I think the main thing for most people is "FREE". :)
Does the cucusoft software rip copy protected DVD's? Also, how does the quality compare with Videora?
Yes it takes care of the copy protection and the encoding all in one step. You can choose the resolution and size as well as create your own. It encodes to mpeg4 and H.264. Currently only 640 x 480 but I'm sure that will be taken care of in the next release. Also all future upgrades are free.
